I took my very first power vinyasa class in 2010 and ever since then I haven’t been able to get away from my mat. The first couple of years as a yogi were all about perfecting my chaturangas and doing every single pose the teacher called. The physical challenge was what allowed me to get out of my head for an hour or so every other day, and I immediately became addicted to that feeling of quietness, stillness, and peace. As I continued the asana practice, I quickly started to notice changes within. This beautiful tool called Yoga has shown me my light, my shadow, my strengths, my weaknesses, my fears (and the list goes on); but most importantly, it has thought me to stay connected physically and mentally by accepting every sensation without resistance on and off the mat.

In 2012, love brought me to Pittsburgh and I am thankful it did because I was able to find Amazing Yoga where I instantly felt connected. The challenging classes continue to keep my ego in check and my soul at ease. I attended Level 1 in Pittsburgh in January 2014 and while my first intention was to deepen my physical and spiritual practice, I found myself teaching those around me about the practice and the benefits that it offers. It was then that I realized I wanted to share this amazing tool with each and every person. Since my first Teacher Training, I have attended trainings and workshops with Seane Corn, Kathryn Budig, Shiva Rea, and Claire Missingham. I am honored to practice and study with extraordinary teachers. It is a privilege to teach at Amazing Yoga and work within such a vibrant and thriving yoga community.
