After you have completed an Amazing Yoga Level 1 Training Program you can begin to teach immediately! You will have all the skills and tools necessary to begin your teaching career. After successfully completing the Level 1 Training you will receive a Certificate of Completion from Amazing Yoga. You can use this to secure a teaching job.
After completing Level 1 Training, we recommend that teachers gain experience teaching in their communities. The next step for those looking to advance their skills, is to attend The Advanced Teacher Training. This training is held once a year in Mexico for 1 week. There are many benefits of taking this 2nd step, including:

•Establishing a high level of credibility in the yoga industry as a highly trained yoga teacher.

•Becoming highly proficient at teaching Power Vinyasa Flow Yoga.

•Becoming very versatile in teaching to large groups, private sessions, and designing workshops.

•Gaining a great degree of creativity, inspiration, and innovation.
We have found that splitting the training into 2 parts produces incredibly strong teachers and keeps you on the growing edge.
Do I have to register with Yoga Alliance to teach yoga?
No. It is optional, you may or may not find any benefit in registering and paying their annual dues. Please keep in mind that Yoga Alliance is simply a registry for teachers, they do not certify teachers. Certification can only come from yoga schools, such as Amazing Yoga.
For those interested in registering with Yoga Alliance:
Amazing Yoga is a registered Yoga School with Yoga Alliance. Students who complete 200 training hours with Amazing Yoga can register with Yoga Alliance. Both The Level 1 Training and Advanced Training are 100 hours each. Please keep in mind that less and less teachers these days are registering with Yoga Alliance. Most teachers have found that there is no benefit whatsoever in registering and paying their annual dues! Please do not limit your search of teacher training programs to schools that are registered with Yoga Alliance. Choose a school that you feel a strong connection with or if you feel drawn to their style. Please do not let Yoga Alliance factor into your decision.
