This unspoiled area of Tuscany, near Radicondoli a provence of Siena, boasts green hills, vineyards, olive groves, sleepy hamlets and wild gorges, medieval churches as well as vestiges of the ancient Etruscan civilization. Villa Marion is situated in an area of Tuscany, untouched by tourism. This is the perfect place for you to enjoy endless open spaces, interspersed by cypress-lined wineries, ancient fortresses and castles as well as former ore mines. The intriguing and unique architecture the villa, newly renovated, is a beautiful location for our yoga retreat. The villa is situated on a private land of 18ha (45 Acres), surrounded by a wide and peaceful countryside.
Villa Marion is a ten minutes drive from the village of Radicondoli, a quaint authentic Tuscan village, forty minutes from the famous town of Siena and 50 miles from Florence. For the wine and cheese lovers, Montalcino and Pienza are must see towns. If your appetite is more for thermal baths and spas, Bagno Vignoni offers many opportunities to heal and unwind. A must see is San Galgano Abbey, a mystical place famous for the ‘sword in the rock’.
During the week you will have plenty of time to visit nearby towns such as Siena, Florence, Pienza, San Gimignano, and others. You can also indulge in cooking classes, horseback riding, biking through the Tuscan countryside, or just read a book by the pool with a local wine.
