We celebrate each meal in a gorgeous dining room overlooking an expansive coffee plantation along with views of Costa Rica’s central valley. Birds and rainbows are frequently spotted. The restaurant serves vegetarian and fresh seafood fare. Special care is taken in the preparation and cleaning of all fruits and vegetables to ensure healthful eating. Let us know if you have particular dietary requirements, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Amazing Yoga Teacher Training contains one of the most effective and practical training methods available. Our 100 Hour Level 1 Yoga Teacher Training (hours can be put toward Yoga Alliance 200 Hour Registration) allows you to access your full potential through asana, meditation, practice teaching and self inquiry. The focus of the training is to produce confident, safe, powerful, and natural teaching. You will also learn sequencing, alignment, philosophy, assisting, the business of yoga, and much more. By the time the week is over, you will be ready to teach a powerful and dynamic class.

Yoga Teacher Training is designed to provide an environment where your own unique understanding of yoga materializes out of your direct experience, and you become confident in sharing it. This initial training will help you establish a solid foundation as a yoga teacher for years to come — one that you can continually build from and grow as a teacher and person.

Karen has always been inspired to help people reach their full potential and face their challenges with courage and integrity. After graduating from Fordham University, she began her teaching career in the public school systems where she later went on to work with high-risk teenagers putting them through challenging situations in the rugged outdoors of Canada where they were able to reach their highest potential.

Karen infuses her joyful, high-energy classes with her belief that we can best serve others and heal ourselves through this dynamic and transforming yoga practice. Karen is a highly experienced teacher and and has led workshops and teacher trainings for over 15 years around the world. Karen was inspired to teach power vinyasa from her first teacher, Baron Baptiste. She has trained extensively with Baron and is a Certified Baptiste Yoga Teacher and is an Accredited Yoga Alliance Teacher Trainer.

She has devoted her life to assisting her students along their yoga journey. “Yoga for me is a practice that insists that I continue to take a closer look at how I can create change and balance in my life. I use that as a platform to inspire others to really invest in their own lives and to get passionate about themselves and all they have to offer.”
